The time has come for us to rise up and Take a stand as a generation.
THE TIME HAS COME.
OUR TIME HAS COME TO CHANGE THE THINGS WE CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO TOLERATE.
Young man, young woman, what are we going to do? Do we not know that the eyes of the next generation are firmly set on you, me, and us? We are the hope, strength and foundation, upon which tomorrow will be built. Most people say the children are the future and they really are. They will build tomorrow on the new foundation we establish today. If we are truly going to experience a better today a major shift must begin in our hearts and minds. When the rubber really meets the road we are the only hope we have of radically changing and redirecting the course of our generation. Some may wonder if a positive and progressive shift in our time is even possible. In the mist of all of the barriers and problems that are confronting us like the epidemic of HIV/AIDS, drugs, violence, teen pregnancy, incarceration and the drop out rate to name a few I can understand why some would question our chances.
It’s clear that change must come but where is it coming from and who’s going to pay the cost it will require to give change a face and a voice today?
I believe it’s you, me, and millions of others that feel a burden for change in our generation. Whether we realize it or not we are all interruptions in our bloodline or family. Nobody like you ever existed before in your family and it’s finally becoming clear to you that you are a pattern cut from a totally different clothe. You are not afraid of going against the grain and being different. You desire to do and accomplish great things individually but you also have a nagging desire to help other people accomplish something. You are radical and bold with major swag to go with it. If these traits connect with you then I’m in need of your undivided attention and participation.
As we explore the ideas and views of the movement that’s being revealed through this writing it will help us all better understand the bigness of what we have been feeling for a very long time that has been void of detail and explanation until now.
